国産木綿を使用し、一針ずつ刺したさらしのふきんです。吸水性も良く、普段使いにも、また埃よけカバーとしてもお使い頂けます。 「花ふきん」は水をくぐるほどに刺し糸の色がうっすらとにじみ出て、白いふきんが淡い刺し糸の色に徐々に染まっていきます。 （そのような特徴から、昔の人は嫁ぐ娘に婚家での生活を思いやる気持ちを込めて持たせていた、という風習があったそうです。）
